Maria Ines Bogado- 2010 World Salon Tango Champion returns to Houston July 6 – 11th

Maria Ines started dancing at the age of 12. She grew up with Folklore and got her MD in Folklore Argentino at the Centro Polivalente de arte de Ezeiza. In 1994 she started learning tango with Cristina Pugni, Diego Gauna. In 1997 she started studying with Carlos and Rosa Perez in the Club Sunderland, where she met Sebastian Jimenez. Together they won the title Metropolitan champions of Vals and World Champions in 2010. Since then Maria Ines Bogado is highly sought out techer and perfeormer at some of the most famous world’s tango events. We are pleased to welcome Maria Ines – the talented and passioned teacher and dancer back to Houston!

Friday July 7th

9.30pm-1.00am Cielito Lindo milonga.Saturday, July 8 th

2.00-3.30pm – Legacy of old school tango dancers, with focus on musicality.
3.45 -5.15pm Maria Ines couple technique: Intensive and practical work on the main and active women’s role.

Sunday July 9th
2.00-3.30pm – Find a style of your own. Stability, character, pivots, balance. Enrosques and Lapices.
